A poor urban education system drives increased poverty, higher incarceration rights, prolonged inequality, and a weaker U.S. economy. We can and must do better.

Our mission is to revive the American dream for underserved children. We recruit emerging community leaders and develop them into education reform catalysts to improve the life prospects of millions of underserved American children.

We are currently recruiting for our 2nd cohort.  We are looking for 25 dynamic fellows for a two year volunteer opportunity.

Year 1 – Fellows attend monthly seminars designed to help them learn about the education reform movement, the challenges we face, and the progress being made.  These seminars are led by education practitioners who have an intimate knowledge of the system.  Previous speakers have included Oliver Sicat – Chief Portfolio Office at Chicago Public Schools, and Beth Purvis – Executive Director at CICS, the largest charter school network in Chicago.

Year 2 – Fellows are matched with education organizations as volunteers and serve as strategic partners to apply the lessons learned from year 1 to a specific situation.
